Our Professional Staff

At Willie Ross School for the Deaf, all of our professionals are properly licensed.

• Our teachers are licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as teachers of the deaf
• Our Speech Pathologist is licensed as a Speech and Language Pathologist by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Our Audiologists are licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and are certified by ASHA
• Our social workers are licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
• Our physical education teacher is licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
• Our interpreters are registered by the Massachusetts Commission of Deaf and Hard of Hearing
• Our students are supported by licensed/certified occupational and physical therapists
• Our staff and students are supported by licensed psychologists
• Our Longmeadow Campus has a licensed, registered nurse on staff 
• Spanish translation services are available
