Arbor Day Celebration
Students in the Partnership
Campus at Mountain View Elementary School in East Longmeadow participated
in a school-wide poetry contest held for all of the students. Fifty-six
students students entered poems, and sixteen poems were picked to
be read at the Arbor Day celebration. All of the submitted poems
were judged equally by Mountain View's Leadership Team using a specific
rubric. Two Willie Ross students were among the sixteen who won!
They read their poemson Wednesday, April 30th at the Arbor Day ceremony!
It was a great honor for our students. They did a wonderful job,
and we were very proud of them.
